What is a Community Billboard Network?

It is an exclusive service for local businesses, organizations and individuals to post physical display signs and track how many people have seen them - while funding a service for the local rate-payers and residents.

How does it work?

If you subscribe you get 10 displays every month.

And we report back to you the results.

Completely tracked by site, per sale or physocal visit if you want to.

Hi, I am Dean. I like to test things. I live and work in Mount Maunganui.

I hate boring ads.

I do not like that Google, Facebook and TikTok are the only way for small businesses to advertise.

So, I launched this new local ad network, where YOUR ad spend money is shared directly to your local community - some of them, your potential clients.

What is cobill?

Spaces for local organisations to reach their target audience while funding services for the local community.

In other words:

Cobill (short for community billboards) is an exclusive service for local businesses, organisations and individuals to book physical display signs and track how many people have used them - while funding a service for the local rate-payers and residents.

What are some examples of placements for community billboards?

1. Bus schedule displays

How does the revenue fund local services?

30% of the recurring revenue is used to fund the investment for the services (eg. build shelters).

50% goes to the owner of the space (eg. council) – this can be used to subsidise any rates (eg. bin collection).

20% is used for business operations (eg. salaries).

Who can book a space in a community billboard?

Local businesses within a 1KM radius are the ones that have exclusive rights to book a space.

We prioritise small businesses first – the ones with less than 20 employees – then any larger local business can book a space.

If there is any spaces left, other non-local organisation can ask a community billboard space - for a premium.

How does the pricing work?

We will always open public pricing. No negotiations, no changes during high or low seasons.

It is all done through a self-service platform where booking space on a billboard is as easy as booking a hotel stay. If an organisation needs a design, we offer that free of charge.
